What does horse work and counselling have in common?
Our Narrative approach to equine assisted therapy is unique, partly because of the horses we choose for our program and partly because of our commitment to the principles of Narrative Therapy.

The stressed human and the stressed horse
Horses have survived for thousands of years by being hypervigilant and adapting to the world around them by relying on behaviours (both helpful and unhelpful) that keep themselves safe. We humans are not so different from horses in that we too create ways of coping with life that keep us safe. This blog explores how we can identify stressors in both horse and human, and ways we can bring about calmness in both.
