โ€œFrom his very first session with Horses for Hope, my son began to come back to us. This program has given me back the boy I thought was lost foreverโ€

โ€œI know itโ€™s counselling, but it doesnโ€™t feel like itโ€

Horses for Hope uses the connection between horses and humans to heal and improve the lives of both.

People and horses work together in a safe and therapeutic environment to foster self-efficacy, empathy, resilience and emotional management.

The results include improved wellbeing, a regulated nervous system, new ways of handling challenges, and the knowledge you have improved the life of a horse that is learning to trust humans again.

โ€œIt is the greatest honour to work with these traumatized horses, learning together to prove that not everyone in this world is bad and there is also hopeโ€

- Phillipa, participant

โ€œBefore arriving, I expected the place to be somewhere where you just brushed a horse whilst chatting with a counsellor. Seeing it in action, every minute detail has been accounted for and the entire team has clearly spent a lot of time and brainpower on creating a practice where every element is explained, accounted for and executed as strongly as possible. The level of care and detail is truly astounding."โ€
