Pioneering equine-assisted narrative therapy to address suffering in people and horses

OUR THERAPY

Horses for Hope provides a unique healing environment for people and horses, accessible to all looking to reimagine their future. Through using equine-assisted narrative therapy we address the suffering in people and animals that have experienced trouble and distress. As an innovator of therapy, we aim to improve the lives of people and horses and continually improve the quality of what we do through innovation, evaluation and review, and research.

OUR PROGRAM

We offer individual sessions, group sessions, community programs, and corporate programs. Each session or program is customised to the participants, and no horse experience is required.

OUR IMPACT

Over 20 years we have supported more than 5,000 participants and 100 horses. People come here when navigating life’s many challenges including mental health , disability, and trauma. We continually monitor our service performance through regularly evaluating our program, ensuring a quality and compassionate experience for all.

β€œThe profound impact of the work that happens here goes beyond words - it offers hope, healing, and a lifeline to those that need it most”
